Hello,
I am looking to embed a google slide deck when I send in a post with my Postie set-up. I know how to get the embed code from google slides, but do not know how to format it correctly in my email so Postie displays it correctly. Could you help?

Hi Megan,

There are a couple of moving parts. Specifically you need to install Google Docs oEmbed https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/google-docs-oembed/ (which despite the warning works fine).

Additionally you’ll need the Postie AddOn Fix Video/oEmbed Links https://postieplugin.com/downloads/fix-video-links/

Once both of these are installed you just need to include the share link to the slide deck (not the embed code) in your email.

I had already purchased the Fix Video/oEmbed Links AddOn to handle youtube videos, so glad to hear that it works with google docs as well.

Thanks. Be sure to update to version 1.0.2 which adds compatibility for Google Docs oEmbed.
