embed local external media

    I am trying out 10web gallery and think it is really good and may start using it in earnest.

    However I have not yet committed to doing so because of my particular use case. I have a Synology NAS and there are tens of thousands of pics already there. [The Synology Photos app just does not suit me.]

    I would like to access the existing collection from Gallery but I do not wish to add or import pictures into the gallery library. While this works fine it is a problem because that would cause an enormous duplication and also concurrency problems

    One thing I noticed was embed media . But this seems to only work for vimeo etc,

    I would like to be able to embed media from my own NAS location, ie

    https://zzz.xxxxx.yyy/photos/CopyP/photo/Sets/2024/2024_08_Nonsuch/IM7_9871.jpg

    but that says “The entered URL is incorrect. Please check the URL and try again” [it isnt I can use it readily locally or remotely from a browser]

    I also try with equivalent local address

    https://192.168.1.180/photos/CopyP/photo/Sets/2024/2024_08_Nonsuch/IM7_9871.jpg

    but get same

    Is this a Photo Gallery restriction ? Does embed only work for sites like vimeo ?
