embedded php code breaks

PHP code sometimes includes angle brackets, e.g., the “greater than” symbol, as in ->… but embedded PHP using this plug-in becomes corrupted when WP Visual mode converts the brackets to >. Then PHP displays an ugly error message in the browser until each conversion is manually edited in Text mode. Only to break again later.
