Embedding swf

I found some solutions and a lot of plugins promising to solve the question: “how embed a swf in a post?”
However for me this is still an issue.
I have a swf that calls several other.
In my very old website, made of pure-html it works putting all files together in the same directory. But calling from a post this structure simply doesn’t works.
I guess it is a path issue.
How can I solve this? Where may I put the files and how could the code be?
