Embeded Form Question – Pre CSS
-
I am working on embedding a MaiChimp sign up form on a WP site.
I have recently installed the MailChimp LS plugin. I am struggling with the CSS. I want to remove the PRE code (I believe). There are LARGE gaps of space at the top of my form. See here (http://www.geminipto.org/directory-sign-up/)
Additionally, I would like the labels and the form fields side-by-side, if not for all of the form fields, then for the check boxes at least. Any suggestions?
I have Firebug, and I can edit CSS. I was able to edit the font family and remove the default background color, easily. Help? What am I missing?
I had previously tried directly embedding the form using embed code which I got on the MailChip site, from “for my website” associated with the list I’m using. And that was very close, looked good, but a big problem in IE 10 with the text input text being cut in half…I couldn’t see the bottom 1/2 of my input text. Ugh. Otherwise, I liked that a lot. Maybe that was the easier problem to solve?
Thanks in advance for any time you can share to help me back on track.
