do you have a link to your site that I can see this in mobile?
The theme is mobile friendly, so my guess is that something is causing a conflict. IF you check out the live demo for Emphasize, does it work for you in mobile? http://demo.shapedpixels.com/emphasize/
Also, is there anything specific that is not working in mobile view for you?

I did notice one thing though. Your logo has a margin set on it which pushes the logo off the right side of the screen.
.site-branding img, .site-title {
margin: 00px 50px 00px 50px;
}
You need to remove that.

The logo works in mobile.
