I tested in my system to see whether I could replicate the issue but it works fine when tested. Could we know whether you notice the issue with all the forms? or it’s only specific when exporting submissions from one form?
Could you please try running a conflict test and see whether it helps in ruling out the issue?

Thanks for the reply.
It’s happening on all forms, across two different servers, never had this problem before with Forminator.
I disabled all plugins except Forminator but it still happens.

We’re very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue!
Indeed, I was able to replicate this on my test server, although I’ve noticed it’s not happening everywhere. I wasn’t able to find out what exactly is playing a role here.
In my case the export:
– has only 3 bytes
– the filename doesn’t contain the form’s name, ie. forminator–220323190425.csv while it should be forminator-test-export-form-220323190425.csv
I’ve already reported this to our Second Line Support team for further checks – we’ll update you here as soon as they find the cause and share feedback.

I’m experiencing the same problem on a new website where export is critically important. It works fine on other sites of ours. When exporting to csv the file is 3 bytes big and completely empty – exactly as mentioned by others in this post.
In addition when I try to set up a scheduled export, I get an error message ‘Invalid form type’, which is also strange. Not sure it this is related, or gives you any clues.

As per this support forum’s guidelines, please open a separate ticket for your case – sometimes the same issue can be caused by different causes and it’s better to solve it one by one. Sorry for the delay here.
We found it is happening when the first select field doesn’t have the type selected in the export submission page, so to prevent the issue we need to re-select the Form type ( Form, Poll, Quiz ).
The fix is coming in Forminator 1.19.
