Still having issues with the email notifications in v 3.0.3.
Debug shows “-> SENDING EMAIL TO ()” followed by “EMPTY EMAIL ADDRESS, SKIPPING” despite an email address being entered in the ‘Post Types’ page of settings.
I’ve added the e-mail to the default area as suggested, which has resulted in the email being delivered this time, however the email contains no reference data to the action that was taken. This is what was received:
“. [] has been successfully deleted on June 29, 2023 09:59 am. The post link is“
The action setup was to delete a post older than x months (The post type uses the Custom Post Type UI Plugin).
However, it’s required that the email address is added in the default area will this mean email notifications will be sent for all actions rather than just the selected ones in the Post Types page?
I test this and I did not face the issue. Could you please check if the issue only happens on your custom post type or it also happens on the regular post type (Post/Page)?
I’ve tested this issue further and everything is working correctly on regular post types so the issue seems only to relate to the Custom Post Type plugin.
All the configurations within the Custom Post Type UI are the standard settings. We are using the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin for the Custom Post Type however Future is working correctly other than just the e-mail content being missing so I would assume this is unlikely to be a result of conflicts between either the Custom Post Type or ACF plugins?
Is there a way to check/edit the email content of the future plugin to see if there are any issues there?

I would assume the same. Can you try to confirm this by creating a new post type, and just fill in these fields and see if the issue happens on that post type?

We could not provide solution unless we know what the issue and how to trigger it.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please reply again here, or you can start a new thread.
Thanks,
