Empty sitemap

    Quite a recent change, my sitemap files now appears as empty in google search console ( i have x2 because of different languages).

    If i request the file by clicking on the link (mysite/sitemap.xml.gz or mysite/sitemap.xml) the sitemap shows correctly. If i create manually the file from this link it works.

    But if i only give the link to google then it fails with empty sitemap 🙁
    It always worked. A recent change was to migrate to PHP 7.2 but i’m not sure it comes from this. What is going on?

    I’m having the same exact issue…. when I visit the page that the plugin says it should be at it’s empty…

    I appreciate any help in advance!

    It seems i solved the problem which is related to cloudflare (proxy/cache). The cloudflare WP plugin is necessary for the sitemaps to work properly. The sitemaps look correctly generated when requested separately from the browser. But the request from Google search engine fails if the cloudflare plugin is OFF which i can’t really explain at this point.
