I’m using a testimonial widget, but I do not use the avatar images it provides, only text. The widget still generates img tags, with the src empty. This results in an issue where it tries to load “avatar.png”, which doesn’t exist and it takes many many seconds to load slowing things down. Can I remove it from being requested somehow?

Please note that testimonial carousel widget is part of Elementor Pro – https://prnt.sc/UUNlsHMhPmEP

Since you are an Elementor Pro user, you can open a support ticket at my.elementor.com ref: https://elementor.com/help/how-to-submit-a-support-ticket/ I’d also suggest you check out Elementor Community Group on Facebook.

We have created it to connect Elementor users together and share knowledge, Global Elementor Community.

Hi, I do not have Elementor Pro. The template is bought and most likely built with Elem. Pro, but I do not have it nor use it.
