    Hello,

We are using your plugin on our website for a long time without issues. We use the Avada theme and Woocommerce for cart and check-out.

Some days ago we updated the plugin to the last version 3.0.1 and suddenly we started receiving notifications about declined purchase attempts due to card declines. After checking the plugin settings, I found that the “Enable Advanced Card Processing” option was disabled and couldn’t be enabled. The following message appears on the page:

“Info: The Checkout page of your store currently uses a classic checkout layout or a custom checkout widget. Advanced Card Processing supports the new Checkout block which improves conversion rates. See this page for instructions on how to upgrade to the new Checkout layout.”

To stop the fraudulent purchase attacks, I had to disable the “Advanced Card Processing” option and only maintain the normal PayPal payment option that also include the card payment.

I’ve tried looking for the new checkout block as the info says, but I think Avada doesn’t have it, and I don’t know where to turn. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and excellent support.

    Hello @bartrs

It looks like you’re describing two separate issues, so let me address both.

First, regarding Advanced Card Processing not being available at checkout after the update – this is something we’ve seen happen occasionally with version 3.0.x due to recent changes in the interface. Even if the setting is enabled, the card fields may not appear. In all cases, simply toggling this gateway off, saving, then turning it back on resolves the issue right away.

The message you’re seeing about using the new Checkout Block is technically accurate, but just to clarify, Advanced Card Processing will still work with both the new Checkout Blocks and the classic checkout. You can safely continue using the classic layout, so long as the plugin is configured correctly.

Now regarding the declined attempts and your concern about fraudulent activity – if you have the logging option enabled under the Connection tab in the plugin settings, we’d really appreciate it if you could share any logs related to those attempts. If it’s not currently enabled, please consider turning it on, especially if you decide to re-enable Advanced Card Processing. That way, we can help monitor the situation more closely if anything suspicious happens again.

Let me know how you’d like to proceed, and if you’d like help checking the logs or toggling the settings.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

Hello, I am also having the issue where 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 removes advanced card processing from checkout. I tried toggling it on and off, but it doesn’t work. I reverted to 3.0.0 and it works fine.

    Hi Krystian,

After some enable/disable of plugin I updated to the 3.0.2 version and I was able to enable the option again. Now everything looks like work fine, even without attacks.

Thanks again for the excellent and fast support.
