• Hi,

I’ve been browsing online the whole day to solve this problem but still no luck. I want my visitors to be able to purchase products without creating an account.

When I Enable guest checkout it makes no difference the user still has to fill out that long and boring form. It’s a big turn off for most people and it decreases sales.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins and switch to default worpdress theme but that didn’t help. I updated wordpress, theme and plugins but still no luck.

Can you guys please help me get this option working and allow people to purchase without creating an account?

    Here’s a link to my store: http://djsgz.co.za/shop/

  • I’m actually not having this problem. I didn’t sign in and also didn’t check the “Create a Free Account” button. It let me go on through to the payment portal. It looks as if the password field is required, but it actually isn’t.

But it’s not working for us (me and a fan from Greece). It is still asking for billing info.

    Here’s a screenshot for proof: http://djsgz.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/screencapture-djsgz-co-za-checkout-1488523836441.png

My fan in greece also sent me a screenshot on facebook complaining about the long form. So I don’t understand why it’s only working on your end.

Can someone please help me with this? I have a few people waiting for me to fix this issue so that they can make purchases

Unless someone knows something I don’t, billing info is one thing that is always asked for. If you use a credit card, billing info is needed, as well with many other types of payment. ‘Guest Checkout’ doesn’t ever save the the information, it just uses it that one time. I have personally never bought anything online without having to enter those basic fields.

You should have said that right form the beginning and we would have saved each other a lot of time hehe…

Thanks Joey mate, I appreciate your help.

LOL, I was assuming you were just having trouble with having to create an account, not the billing info and everything. No problem!
