Enable Shortcode in Widget

    To enable this plugin in widget you need to add a filter

    add_filter( 'widget_text', 'do_shortcode');
    • Go to Plugin editor
    • Select this plugin
    • paste the code before the following code
    • add_action( 'publish_askme', 'publish_askme_hook' );
    • Update file

    The plugin will start working in widget.

    So, there is a need for ask me as a widget?

    Wrote it on the road map for the next update.
