Enable Upgrade / Downgrade Action

    Hello,

    I hope you are doing well. I would like to thank you for your effort. I feel I have a problem with “Enable Upgrade / Downgrade Action” section in “Edit Membership Plan”. So what I am trying to do is that when a user has an active plan and wants to upgrade or downgrade their plan the change will take place after the current plan expires.

    I am using “Subscription / Recurring Payment” the problem is that when I select
    plan(s) which level is higher than current plan, the “Upgrade to other plan after current plan expiration ( After End Of Term)” option disappears.

    Hello,

    Regarding upgrade/downgrade, when you select “subscription” membership plan for “Upgrade Plan” or “Downgrade Plan” then the “Upgrade to another plan after current plan expiration ( After End Of Term)” option will be not available due to payment gateway limitations.

    Do you mind explaining the limitations as this is a crucial feature for my model?

    Hello

    Some payment gateways do not allow to start subscription with an auto-debit subscription with future dates etc. And also, in some payment gateways if a customer changes any setting to the payment gateway side, then it may affect to start new subscription plan automatically. So, it’s not possible to start a subscription plan with an auto-debit option on upgrade/downgrade action. I hope this makes sense.
