    No one?

I don’t know the answer offhand….but, I know there are themes that allow you to upload custom headers.

When I was learning WP, I would find themes that do what I want, and steal that bit of code…..

That’s what I would recommend, find some themes that allow custom headers, test till you find one that does it just like you want, and copy the code…..

That’s a good suggestion, thanks a lot. Pretty sure it requires quite a lot of messing around in functions.php and my PHP skills aren’t really up to scratch though…

I’m surprised there doesn’t seem to be anything in the Codex on this.

Actually, a bit more searching around made me find this tutorial: http://budstechshed.com/add-a-custom-image-header-function-to-your-admin-panel/

    It now works.

cool! I’m gonna bookmark that one for later!

Be careful though! Everything worked fine for me yesterday, but today I just get a blank screen, both for the site and wp-admin.

I backed up my functions.php and header.php files before doing it, unfortunately I didn’t do any other backups…
