I will align with the Piwik team. If this feature will be enabled by default, it does not make sense to offer an option to WP-Piwik, too. But if the default integration will take some time on the Piwik site, I’ll have a look at this to offer an interim solution.

Btw: You can choose the “Enter manually” option in “Enable tracking code” to make your own changes to your tracking code.
