Enabling Comments

    Hi all,

    I am having trouble enabling comments on my posts and pages. I have selected all the necessary checkboxes on all pages and posts under ‘Discussions’ in order to allow for comments. I have also downloaded Disqus in an attempt to use a plugin to allow for comments, but nothing is working!
    No comment section is coming up on my live site!

    Is there anything that I’m missing/doing wrong?
    Is there any way to troubleshoot this?

    Hi Sammy,

    Are comments enabled in the site wide Settings? If you click on Discussion under the Settings menu item there should be an option there. What theme are you using? Do you have a URL to the site that we can review?

    Yes i have enabled all comments under Discussions.

    My URL is https://sammyliveslife.com

    Please let me know if there is anything else you need to see, i have no idea whats going wrong!

    Hi Sammy,

    Looks like you are using Genesis theme. There is a setting under Theme Options for Genesis for Comments and Trackbacks. Can you check if ‘Enable Comments’ is checked there?

    Hi Aleeda,

    I have enabled both Comments and Trackbacks on both posts and pages in Theme Settings.
    Still no luck 🙁

    Correct, i’m using Genesis Lifestyle.
