Encoding problem with Gravity forms notification emails

    Hello,
    since the last update I have wrong encoding in my german notifications. The wrong characters are in the mail text and also in the content coming via merge tags from the database. Database is utf8, also the settings in wp-conf are utf8.

    Do I have to go back to a older version?

    Any specific email client where the problem shows up?

    I use Thunderbird 52.9.1 on Mac. But it’s the same on my iPhone mail client and even via webbrowser on the webmail of my mail provider. Just now it was coming a new order from a client with an user account (registered user) on this site. The mail of this order was ok…?! I’m confused.

    I tried several things in the last days but I can’t reproduce this error. Another user has the same problem with Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce but all these Plugins work fine on all of my test systems. Do you have a staging system where the error shows up and I can try to debug it?
