Enfold Problem
-
Hello team,
I have noticed that with the “Enfold” theme the images are only partially displayed as webp. Mostly it is the images that are integrated with the image element. Can you help me to solve the problem?

Hi @flooouu,
Thank you for your message.
Please show me how you test this. Send me please screenshots, a description of how you’re testing it, and the URL of your website.
Best,
MateuszHey, thanks for the quick reply.
I installed the plugin, adjusted the NGINX configuration and then converted the upload folder, saved it and checked it in the console. It still worked in an older version of the plugin. I spent the last two days fixing the security vulnerability in Enfold and updated everything.
(Is on every page that runs with Enfold.)@flooouu Your screenshot shows that some of the images are displayed in the WebP format, so everything works correctly.
The reports we receive very often do not concern a problem with the plugin operation, but problems with understanding how the plugin works. Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:
https://mattplugins.com/docs/how-to-test-converter-for-media-pluginSome images are not available in WebP format because when converted to WebP they weighed less than the original ones. This happens with smaller images or previously optimized images.
I also recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. I did an analysis to learn more about the potential benefits of using the AVIF format for you. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh 46% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. This will further improve the performance of your website.
Thanks for the answer, I understand. How can I interpret this? The optimized image has 7kb less size than the original image. However, the original image is displayed in the browser. Or am I misunderstanding something?

Greetings,
Flo@flooouu I don’t know what image this statistic refers to. Please send me full screenshots – small clippings do not allow me to assess the situation.

It is exactly the image, no thumbnail or anything similar in the frontend.@flooouu Please tell me, have you looked at my message and the instruction attached there?
I quote again what I wrote to you earlier:

https://mattplugins.com/docs/how-to-test-converter-for-media-pluginYour file that you show in the screenshot is loaded in WebP format. You can check it here.
Oh, I must have made a mistake yesterday. Thanks for the quick support.
