English WordPress Admin Error

    After installing I got this message:

    “English WordPress Admin Error: You only have English language installed. Please install another language before using this plugin.”

    The weird thing is that everything in my WordPress admin area is in Spanish, and I want it in English… How can I get to that English language that is installed, but that I can’t see?

    I think my problems started with the wpml plugin, but I’ve spent days reading their FAQs and instructions, and none of them have worked. My site is in Spanish and Portuguese, that’s why I needed the plugin, but I’d like to keep my WP admin area in English. I was so happy when I found your plugin! Now it tells me that I only have English installed… 🙁 Any ideas or suggestions, please?

    Hi Dekmar,

    WPML has that built-in, so you don’t need this plugin.

    Go to:
    Users -> Your Profile -> WPML language settings -> Select your language

    Then change the language from the dropdown and your admin language will change.
