There is not much to say. If I add [c]test[/c] in the text editor I guess this [c]test[/c] on the frontend. Code in pre tags is rendered correctly.
i need much more informations:
– Which editor? Gutenberg/TinyMCE/legacy text mode
– Which post/page/comment type ?
– Are the shortcode settings correct ? Enlighter -> Editing -> Shortcodes

Thanks! The language shortcodes were disabled. I wonder why you display the shortcodes in the toolbar (legacy text editor) if this feature is disabled?
in case it’s disabled, the QuickTag plugin should use the generic “enlighter” shortcode

Then you should remove the quicktags if the QuickTag plugin is not installed. If the quicktags appear in the toolbar, I assume I can use them.
“QuickTags” is a part of the legacy wordpress text editor (name of the toolbar buttons)

Right. So remove them from the editor if they can’t be used with the configured settings.
if it’s working right now, i’ll close this thread. the related Enlighter QuickTag plugin takes care of the settings and changes it’s behaviour depending on the settings – i’ve no idea why this was not working in your case
