Entered Code thru WP editior

I tried to add a piece of code to my functions.php in the child theme on my WP site. The code I entered was from this snippet: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/move-my-metadata-down?replies=10

My site is now locked out by a “Parse error: syntax error”

I am very new to this and can’t figure out how to enter the site to remove the error?
