    You can make the “manage events” role be a “subscriber” (lowest user role) and then ensure that all new users to the site are created as subscribers (there is a WordPress option for this). This will then involve users who wish to contribute in this way registering, and logging in. Hope this helps.

    Is this a Front-end webpage that they would “schedule” an event on, or will it be back-end experience for the member who is scheduling an event?

    Also, Is there a way to incorporate an RSVP option to each event, with limited spots available?

    It’s back-end only and there is no RSVP function
