Sorry to hear you are having trouble!
There is no limit. I personally helped another load well over 750K of entries into their database somewhat recently.
The cause of this error is usually because another plugin has altered or corrupted the Connections tables in the WP database.
Did you, by chance, migrate your site from one domain to another or use any maintenance plugins?

I deactivated all Plugins except the Connections
cleared cache 5 times
and I’m still not able to add entries
I haven’t changed any Connections settings in the meantime
and I haven’t migrated my site
is it a bug?
Would you take a look – it is a development site so it is no problem to give you the credentials

Can you please post the website system info? You can find it on the Connections Tools admin page under the System Info tab.
I recommend saving it to a text file and then uploading that text file to the Media Library and sharing the link in your reply. This way, you can easily delete the info.

Hmmm… that is odd. Great to hear it is working again! But it’s definitely puzzling. Please do let me know if this occurs again.

Weird …
I thought I found the problem:
After I deactivate the Entry Type Options “Organisation” in
/Settings /Fieldset configuration /Publish Fieldset /Entry Type Options
I was able to add entries
Than I double checked before I wanted to inform you
and now both settings work – activated and deaktivated
I let you know if something doesn’t work again
