hey Vik;
I see this JS error on the browser console;
ReferenceError: flowplayer is not defined[Learn More] george-halmazna-migraci-orlu-skalnich-ve-skalistych-horach:28:1
Not sure if it’s related to Envira Gallery, but it is very likely the error is due to Autoptimize’s config, so have a look at AO’s FAQ for info on how to troubleshoot (you’ll probably have to exclude easy-video-player/lib/flowplayer.min.js from JS optimization). If the gallery problem persists, you could try excluding the JS from that plugin from AO JS optimization as well.
Hope this helps,
frank (AO dev)
Hi Frank!
Thank you for your reply! I’ve tried to exclude the above mentioned js, but the problem persists. π Maybe excluding the JS of Envira would help? I am just not sure what JS exactly should I put into the exclusions. Any further help would be much appreciated!
well, if you purge W3 TC’s cache and check the browser console you’ll should see the flowplayer error-message disappeared, so that’s a good thing π
for envira you could try adding envira-gallery-lite/assets/js/ to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list.
Thank you for your answer! Awesome, so at least one thing is solved. π Although the Envira is still not working. π I tried to put the exclusion there, but it is still the same, as with the Envira admin panel. Damn, what could it be?
Hmmm … if it does not work when excluded and if the admin does not work either (where autoptimize is not active), then the problem is likely elsewhere (i.e. not autoptimize). But I don’t know Envira I’m afraid, hope someone else can help you here.
Hi π I’m happy to help! That js error isn’t actually related to Envira.
Basically what Envira does is wrap each gallery image in <noscript> tags. That way if anyone visits your site that doesn’t have a javascript enabled browser they can still seeing your images. The images appearing under your gallery are actually due to something on the page is breaking the <noscript> tags and causing those images to show for you.
If you take a look at this screen shot below, you can see where the gallery ends and the <noscript> tagged images begin.

Have you tried deactivating the other plugins and theme to check for a conflict yet? You can always open up a support ticket by going to our contact form and clicking Basic Question.
Please let me know how I can help! π
Thanks
Hi there!
Thank you very much for your reply! So what do you think could be the solution for this problem? I am pretty certain it must be one of those optimalization plugins, such as Autoptimize or W3 Total Cache, but as I’ve written above, I am in dire need of those, so I can’t really turn them off for the sake of Envira. π I can try to turn some of it just to try which of the plugin is the cause though.. But not sure what I would do then? The problems with those plugins is that they have so many settings, which can be pretty overwhelming. What do you think I should do?
Thank you in advance for your answer and have a great day!

Hi π
Have you already tried deactivating the theme and other plugins to check for a conflict? Also, if you have lazy load enabled on the gallery, I wonder if W3 Total Cache or Autoptimize is running lazy load as well and causing a conflict. It’s either that or possibly deferring the js or minifying the js that could be the culprit.
I would first try switching the gallery columns (if it’s Automatic) to a column count. Next I would try to turn off Envira’s lazy load on the gallery (if enabled). Then I would look at checking the Autoptimize or the W3 for deferring the js files.
Last attempt would be to deactivate the theme and all other plugins. I actually run Autoptimize on my site with js minified but I don’t use the Automatic layout and currently I’m not experiencing the same issue. So I’d be curious! π
Please let me know if I can help in anyway! π
Thanks
Hi!
Thank you again for your reply, I really appreciate you are taking your time with my problem! π
I haven’t tried deactivating the plugin or the theme. Our page is a magazine that is visited by readers so I am a bit afraid to tempt with it.
Could you please elaborate what you mean by switching the gallery columns? The problem with this bug is that I cannot access the admin panel and settings for Envira, so I cannot edit or set anything unfortunately. π
Thanks and have a great day!

Hi π
Oh I see, I apologize. The I would definitely start by deactivating the theme and other plugins to see if you can access those basic functions. It sounds like there’s a plugin conflict (or theme conflict) if you’re unable to edit the gallery.
