    WordPress Version : 4.4.2
    Envira Lite Version : 1.3.5.8
Example URL demonstrating the issue: http://www.toddlershipstudio.com/portfolio/james-bond/
Exact steps taken to reproduce the issue (enough for anyone with Envira Lite installed to be able to take those steps and see the issue for themselves) :
    – can’t load the page
    – running a child theme (Vanish by zigzagpress) based on genesis framework
-I followed some steps on debugging Envira, I added the debug code to the wp_config.php file

What the error is : can’t load the page,

    this[((“_” + this.options.layoutMode) + “Reset”)] is not a function

I’m not sure what that means.

    What you expect to see

The page loading with gallery working. I need a gallery plugin and was testing between NextGen and Enviragallery. NextGen gallery works on this portfolio page (a custom type). Was preferring and hoping to get enviragallery to work so i could get the gold/premium version for added functionality.

  • Will you check for a theme/plugin conflict; it’s possible another javascript error occurring on the page could trigger this error from Envira.

    Thanks!

It’s a theme conflict, I’ve turned off all plugins. I’ve also tried the default 2016 and it works.

Not sure what kind of steps can I do to resolve this error and allow Envira to work.

If it’s a premium theme I’d check with the author if there’s any javascript that might need to be corrected within the theme to resolve the conflict. If you disable Envira are there any theme-related javascript errors output in the browser console that you could provide the theme author?

    Hi Erica,

I’m waiting for the author but there are no theme-related javascript errors if envira is disabled. (it is disabled now atm)

as previously mentioned, nextgen gallery is playing nice with the theme so something is in conflict with envira, I’m not sure what. I can probably follow as instructed to remove some stuff but I don’t know how to debug 🙂

I’m hoping to get envira to work because I find the backend UI much friendlier and if it works then I can upgrade to a pro version 😀

    Hi,

You’re welcome to update this thread when you have a reply from the theme author. There will be a way to resolve this, either at their end or ours – although on first inspection, the code error you raise isn’t coming from Envira.

    Thanks,

    Tim.
