erase admin account

    Hello.
    I have a question about account user.
    Someone in my enterprise has installed wordpress system with the name “admin” for login
    i am administrator too but i want to change this login to prevent hacking (i use ithemes security)
    Who can i do ?
    Erase his account and create an other ? with “xxxadminxxx” name for example ?
    i am scared to break all the website because the website was installed with this account
    Someone can give me an aswer ?

    1. Login as an admin and create a new admin user.
    2. Logout and then login as that new user.
    3. Verify it can do all the necessary admin stuff.
    4. Delete the “admin” user from step 1.
    5. WordPress will ask you if you want to transfer the content to a different user. Select a different user and transfer ownership of the content.
    6. Have a cup of coffee. You’re done.
