ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

There are TONS of closed topics on this matter, and after spending a few hours with godaddy myself, this is what I have learned.
At Times ( not all, as own 17 word press sites and only Now have this issue )
There are domain config. issues on Godaddy’s end. When you go to your site from your own IP address, then edit a post,( Update) it then takes you to a different IP via godaddy’s end.
According to Godaddy, this is not a security measure or issue, they just state it happens from time to time and the answer IS, they must “Whitelist” Your i.p. address for you on their end.
( Google ” What is my i.p. address ” )
You will still have to go through their steps before they will do so, as “whitelisting” is their last resort.
Deactivate all plugins
Change to basic theme
etc.And of course they will want to try to re-create the issue on their end which won’t happen of course as the server is not blocking / editing their i.p. address, so updating etc. will work on there end.
Hope you don’t have to be on the phone as long as I was today..
Best of luck !
