    Hi Gioni,

Lately, it looks like whenever your plugin is updated, I am faced with similar issues which I posted several weeks ago.

When plugin is enabled I get this error ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE front end and back end of the website. When I disable your plugin I no longer have this error.

1/ In the Plugins section of the admin dashboard, when I click on “View version” or “View details” for a plugi, I get the following error “This page isn’t working. mydomainname didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”.

2/ Also when quick editing a post or a comment, updating the quick edit stalls and posts and comments don’t get updated. Normal edit works.

3/ Front end of the website, comment like button no longer works, ajax request fails, etc.

These issues started happening after I updated your plugin to 5.7 and again to 5.8.6. Unfortunately reverting back to 5.8 did not resolve the issue. The only time the errors disappear is when I disable your plugin.

Main settings I have block: subnet, non-exitent users, and redirect dashboard requests enabled in proactive security rules; Hardening: Stop user enumberation, disable REST API, and allow REST API for logged in users enabled (jetpack and contact-form-7 specified); and nothing enabled in antispam since it was giving me an issue and blocking comments with the following error “ERROR: Sorry, human verification failed.”

    Your support is appreciated

    Hi!

You need to inspect your web server (Apache?) error log. It’s the only way to find out what’s wrong in your case. Most likely it’s a conflict that leads to an unrecoverable software error which is the cause of the empty response. The web server should write detailed information about the error to the error log.

Are you sure you are on 4.9.1 WP version ?

Version before, or 2 versions before do not remember, core update made this to my 2 websites. Something new in core code was in conflict with some plugin, or some line of my custom functions code.

    4.9.1 WP version solved it.

Update core and all other plugins too.

Yes I’m on 4.9.1 WP version and all plugins and theme are up to date. I agree that it may be a conflict with another plugin but unfortunately I don’t have the time to dig find out which one. For now I’ve disabled the plugin and everything is working fine and as it should be. I’ll mark this revolved even though it’s not really.

    Thanks
