I have a similar issue after wordpress 5.9.3 update.
When i click “pdf invoice”, Chrome give me the following error:
“Errore
Impossibile caricare il documento PDF.”
(“Error
Impossible to load the pdf document”)
Edit: If I choose the html format, I got the invoice.

Same problem… “ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE” after updating the plugin itself a few minutes ago.
Impossible to download any invoice or packing slip.
Doesn’t work on both, neither Safari nor Chrome.

I have solved (partially) the issue.
Solution #1
Change the format from PDF to HTML
Solution #2
Go to plugin settings -> Status -> Click on “Create a new temp folder”
Go to plugin settings -> General -> Select “open the pdf in a new tab of browser” on “How would you view the pdf?”
If I use the 2nd solution I can print pdf files.
PS: I have translated from Italian to English the plugin settings text

Thanks for reporting this error, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience! It appears this was related to the Content-Length header we added in the last release, affecting the “Download” option for the “How do you want to view the PDF?” setting (General).
We have now reverted that change and released a new version: 2.14.4
The download option should now work too, but please let us know if you continue to have issues!
