erreur SIGSEGV
-
Bonjour,

Sorry, I can’t reproduce this. And please translate the questions to English so that I don’t have to translate them myself. Thanks! Try to remove all other plugins and themes if the problem persits.
Could be related to the fact that the server does not meet the requirements for the current WordPress version 6.6
And please rethink your review here where I asked that the problem was but I did not receive an answer: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/anchor-trouble/
Hello? Can we close this?
Solution found: disable automatic summary update in general settings.
Have a good day
this had nothing to do with this plugin and most likely happened because of a missconfigured server
Hi, the issue appears to only happen with a summary bloc inside a reusable bloc.
To reproduce: create a Reusable (synced) bloc containing a SimpleTOC bloc with the option “automatic summary update” activated, then insert that reusable bloc in a new or existing post or page.
Tested. Works like a charm. No problem with a synced reusable block with SimpleTOC inside with default settings (auto refresh on). Tested with tastewp.com Please provide server logs since “SIGSEGV” is a server problem and the error is logged in the server php error log. thanks.
Sorry, my mistake, it’s the option “Hide SimpleTOC” plus “Hide in accordion menu. Adds minimal JS and CSS.” that’s causing this…
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new tastewp instance and log in on a Chrome browser
- Install SimpelTOC, activate it and deactivate all other plugins
- Edit Sample Page and add a SimpleTOC
- Activate the “Hide SimpleTOC” option and switch to “Hide in accordion menu. Adds minimal JS and CSS.”
- Click Create Pattern in the block toolbar menu
At this point, the browser (latest Chrome) will freeze.
If you wish, I can share login info for a tastewp instance where a reusable block with a simpeltoc is prepared. Trying to insert the block will cause the browser freeze.
Note: The SIGSEGV error mentioned by web1media above is a local (ChromeOS) error after the browser tab has crashed.
I tried this with TasteWP and most recent WordPress and Chrome version. Works. Please send credentials to [email protected]
Hi, just sent the credentials. The instance should remain available for one day…
Okay, this happens only with the legacy accordion in a reusable block pattern with WP 6.6. I think this is a bug in WordPress itself. I will look into this but most likely we just have to wait for a fix. Or use the new native accordion instead.
Thanks for taking a look.
It does indeed look like an issue with WP 6.6 as we are now seeing other reusable blocks causing significant slowdown in browser responsiveness… No real browser freezes though, still it feels like some script going into an infinite loop.
Let’s see what 6.6.1 will bring 🙂
Thanks again for your time!
I tried a quick fix and disabled all js for the accordion in the backend when Gutenberg run. This is not the issue. Honestly I have no idea why the accordion is a problem when the js is not the problem.
It’s very weird indeed.
And I just tested WP 6.6.1 RC1 on tastewp but there the same thing happens 🙁
By the way: what did you mean by “legacy accordion”? Is that the option “Hide in accordion menu. Adds minimal JS and CSS.”?
