Hello friend, I am having a problem with the installation of the MailPoet 3 version, the error appears “The MailPoet plugin requires WordPress version 4.6 or later. Read our instructions on how to solve this problem.”
But my version of WordPress is 4.9, and the php is 7.4. I disabled some security systems on the site and changed the permissions and I still can’t install, what can it be?

    Please help me.
    thanks

    Hi @mondoidea,

Typically issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

How we usually address this type of issue is to have you temporarily switch back to a default theme (like TwentyTwenty) and disable all plugins except for WooCommmerce and MailPoet.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

If you still have that problem even though you disabled your plugins and themes, the error 500 might be provoked by some other reasons. Here you can check some recommendations and suggested tips to troubleshoot the problem:

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Cheers!
