    Can you please confirm that you are using the latest versions of the following plugins:

    – WordPress (not a plugin but need to check) – v 4.9.7
    – WooCommerce – v 3.4.3
    – WooCommerce Services – v 1.15.1

    I just checked all the plugins and WordPress and they are all on the right version.

    Thanks for confirming the plugin version numbers. Let’s take a look at this particular error here:

    07-11-2018 @ 20:57:38 – Error retrieving the tax rates. Received (400): {“error”:”Bad Request”,”detail”:”to_zip 27949 is not used within to_state false”,”status”:400} (WCS Tax)

    It looks like the zipcode entered during checkout was 27949 but it didn’t match the state. Do you know what was the state entered?

    I don’t know who entered it, but it seems there is no VAT calculated at all on my orders.

    For stores based in the EU, we recommend using our EU VAT Number extension (https://woocommerce.com/products/eu-vat-number/) in addition to automated taxes. We note the same in our docs:

    Would you please give it a try and let us know how it goes?

    Is it the only issue you are having with the taxes?

    Hi @jameosova,

    I am based in the EU but i sell worldwide.
    The EU VAT Number is not a solution to my problem i guess, as i sell B2C.

    I just lost a big order, because something was not working correctly when i looked back at the recording i saw my customer got this error:

    “The Zip Code you supplied Failed Validation” … If the zip check has failed, it’s because the bank is telling us that the zip code does not match the one it has on file. If the cardholder has recently moved, it may take their bank a while to have the correct zip code on file for them.”

    I can give you the details but i don’t think i should do it here, is there any method i can send a pm?
