    Thanks for reaching out and we’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues setting up the Other SMTP mailer.

    Based on the “Could not authenticate” error message, the credentials you inserted are incorrect.

    Please ensure that you have followed the instructions outlined this section of our documentation regarding setting up the Other SMTP mailer.

    By the way, since you are attempting to use Gmail as your SMTP service, we would recommend using the Google mailer instead.
