    When I activate the plugin I keep getting the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /home/soundhou/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-types-custom-fields-widget/search-types-custom-fields-widget.php on line 151

    Since I’m not good with PHP if you could let me know what to fix would be greatly appreciated.

    Please tell me your PHP version. This plugin requires PHP version 5.4 or later.

    Please tell me your PHP version number. This plugin requires at least version 5.4. I think you are using something older. The description of the plugin does state this as a requirement. But, since I don’t carefully read requirements myself I cannot blame you for not noticing. Anyway parse errors are usually caused by an incompatible PHP version.
