Error 400 while restoring backup

    Hello Upraftplus ^__^

    To learn wordpress i am using free hosting service by 000webhost.com

    1) I used your free Updraftplus backup plugin. I backup my Site to dropbox.
    When i tried to run the restore, i got message saying “The requested URL returned error: 400 Bad Request”, except for themes.

    2) My 2nd question is, I have another wordpress install which is a multisite. How can i use free version of updraftplus to backup my site.

    Hi,

    1)Could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    2)The free version of UpdraftPlus is not designed to backup Multisites. We have a premium add-on available that adds multisite compatibility to UpdraftPlus. For more information, please see our site store.

    Hi,

    I’m afraid that your backups to Dropbox may have been hit by a bug that occurred in some versions of UpdraftPlus.

    To restore, you will need to manually download the backups from Dropbox, then upload them to UpdraftPlus through the Existing Backups tab. You should then be able to restore.

    If you are on the latest version, future backups should not experience this issue.

    ok sir thank you. Pl resolve this bug as soon as possible.

    Sir can i use Free version of updraft press to somehow backup my mulitisite. I dont know which is the best free way to backup multi site

    Hi,

    Further research has been done on this issue – it is caused by a bug in a very-old (a few years) version of the “curl” library on affected webservers. We have a work-around in our next release, due in the coming week.
