    I have two clients (both office 365) that have started getting this error:

    Code: 401, Message: Unauthorized, Body: {“errors”:[{“message”:”Maximum credits exceeded”,”field”:null,”help”:null}]}

    are you able to advise what might be the problem? Was there a recent update which now limits emails sent or something else?

    Your assistance will be most appreciated.

    Hello @681admin

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Thank you for reaching out to our Support team.

    The error you’re seeing indicates that the application or connector being used to send emails has exceeded the usage limits imposed by Microsoft or your configured mail provider, not necessarily due to a recent plugin update.

    Check the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to review the account activity to confirm if sending limits were exceeded.

    I believe this is will be helpful. Could you please share if they are using the API or SMTP for connecting Office 365.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Warm regards,

    Hi there. I’ve checked one and they were using sendgrid which I’ve reverted to mimic WordPress normal email sending and it works AOK now (plus was able to resend the failed emails).

    Following up with the other install now, probably will be sendgrid issue as well. Likely cause is an old sendgrid account that’s probably recently been deleted – sorry for the false alarm.
