Hiiii
I set up Google API and calendar ID and set it to public.
But I got message as following:

Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3/calendars/j55qeaje3l8l1efnn793l3ccmg%40group.calendar.google.com/events?maxResults=2500&timeZone=&key=AIzaSyDYTFpZm59icbiwi-etsXbEjUiHk2GQ1p0: (403) The request did not specify any referer. Please ensure that the client is sending referer or use the API Console to remove the referer restrictions.

Anyone can help please?

Did you follow these instructions exactly: http://docs.simplecalendar.io/google-api-key/ There should be nothing extra added like whitelist URLs or anything like that in case you have done so.

Also you can try running through this to see if there are any possible conflicts: http://docs.simplecalendar.io/troubleshooting-theme-plugin-widget-conflicts/
