Hello there, I’m quite new with all that stuff but here is my problem.

I’m starting a website running on nginx with php 7.4.1, WP 6.2.2 and starter template 3.2.3

I’m trying to use a template.

Installation is ok, I can even open the website based on the template.

Given I’m using elementor to modify the template

when i’m saving a modification on the template

Then I have an error 405 (method not allowed) message and the modifications are not saved.

I’ve checked and there’s no port conflict, and every version come from the “basic” install.

Does that sounds familiar to any of you?

every suggestion is welcome but plz bear in mind I’m not an expert 🙂

    thanks a lot

    Hi @mdamdo,

Please try temporarily switch the theme to a default Twenty series theme then do the same thing. Do you still have the same problem? If you do, Elementor forum would be the next place to ask.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

    Hi Herman,

    thanks for your Quick repky,

in the meantime I résolved the issue. It was a privilege level in the nginx server that was not set properly by default.

I changed it and now the theme works.

    thanks.
