• Hi,

I have an issue while using this plugin for a site. Unfortunately, I get error 500 when using it: “Note: The checked URL returned an error when fetching the assets via AJAX call. This could be because of a firewall that is blocking the AJAX call, a redirect loop or an error in the script that is retrieving the output which could be due to an incompatibility between the plugin and the WordPress setup you are using.”

I selected “WP Remote Post” as a method of retrieving the assets from the “Settings” page but nothing happened…

For the record, I use Elementor

Where does this problem come from?

    Thank you very much,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I add this information: I have this 500 message Error in all pages

@ed12 the best way to debug this would be to have the browser’s console open while doing the fetching of the CSS/JS assets. If you go to “Network” — “Fetch/XHR”, you will be able to view all the AJAX calls that are made. If the response you’re getting is not 200 OK, then something is likely not good there (e.g. a PHP error). If you notice anything funny, let me know!

Also, another way of debugging this is to install the “Error Log Monitor” plugin that would report errors within the Dashboard. Try to load the CSS/JS manager again and then go to the Dashboard’s main page (widgets area). Perhaps, some errors are reported there. If that’s the case, a debugging process could be started based on those errors.

    Good afternoon,

Thank you very much for your answer. I will have a look.

Moreover, would that be possible to delete or make it private the link which is public in the first message?

    Thank you very much again

@ed12 you can reach out to the moderators of this forum and explain them the reasons behind your decision to hide that link. As far as I recall, some users wanted to hide information such as the full local path to specific files (within their online websites) for security reasons, but failed to mark them as hidden.

What you can do, at least from now on, is to write to me on private here https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/ or to anyone else from this forum that you need to provide a link to (since it should be private).

Note that the link is in the field “page I need help with” (which should be “Page with which I need help”, but that’s another story) is visible only to logged in users, so search engines cannot see it.
