Error 500 during Form sent

    Hello all,

    today i noticed, that something goes wrong with my CF-7.
    When i try to sent, i receive a Server-500 error.

    My error-file says:
    10:27:45 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_status() on null in /usr/www/users/placeholderuser/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/contact-form.php on line 687

    Is this Code:
    'status' => $submission->get_status(),

    Funny is that the mail is going out anyway when i check my mails.

    I tried two or three hours to figure out the problem.
    Because i have more domains, i tried it on 3 different websites.

    What i could notice is, that it seems to be a problem with permalinks and SeoToolYoast-Permalinks.
    On 1 domain i played so long, till it works.

    But on my most important website – i can’t fix the problem.

    Do anybody have an idea?

    Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

    Hi Takayuki,

    if i switch the Theme to the default TwentyFourten it does work.
    But i could only test the form on a blank site – because my complete layout is based on Advaced Custom Fields.

    When i Switch back to my theme it still does not work.
    Still the same behavior – 500error with blank pages but the mail are going out.

    So what could be the problem?
    It did work all the time before.

    Addition informations:
    On my old local Version (where i still have installed Contact Form 4.9) it works.
    But my productive system with the newest WP Version and the newest Contact Form version it does not work..

    Now i know that it’s only on sites where i changed the permalink with the plugin “custom permalinks”.
    Here is an example where made a custom permalink and the form doesn’t work.

    To see that it works on sites where the permalink wasn’t changed you can test it on this site:

    No i know my problem but have no idea how to fix :-/
    I found a post in a german forum where someone had the same problem – but also no solution.
