Error 500 when enabling database cache

    Hello
    Everything works fine, i am using latest w3total latest version 0.9.6, once i enable db caching on Disk or on Redis, the admin page get Error 500, that i have to remove the w3total cache folder manually to login again
    The logs show:
    PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function init_charset() on a non-object in /home/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/DbCache_Wpdb.php on line 203
