    The three causes of this message (that I’m aware of) are :

    • The theme you are using is sending mail – temporarily activate the default TwentyFifteen theme to see if the error goes away
    • Your host may have installed an MU-class plugin to prevent you from sending mail – check your wp-content/mu-plugins directory for hidden plugins
    • Another plugin is sending mail instead of Postman – temporarily deactivate all other plugins to see if the error goes away

    If you run the Diagnostic Test, there is a line that begins Postman Bind… Followed by a long file name. That file name shows the other code that is using wp_mail.
