    I have to admit I’m not a so much into Social Media/Marketing but I added this plugin into a clients site and it never missed a beat!

    Attempted to install it on another client site (pointing to https://www.facebook.com/name.name) and received:

    Unable to display Facebook posts.
    Error: (#803) Cannot query users by their username (name.name)
    Type: OAuthException
    Code: 803
    Please refer to our Error Message Reference.

    I’ve spent hours reviewing forums and updating my Facebook account to see if I changed some settings that it would work (as a test) but it too failed.

    I’m at a loss.
    Any advice would be welcome.

    Hey Bean,

    Is the Facebook page you’re having trouble displaying the posts from actually a personal Facebook profile, or is it a Facebook page? You’re not able to display the posts from a personal Facebook profile due to Facebook privacy restrictions, so the plugin is only able to display posts from a public page or open group. See #1 of this FAQ for more information.

    If it’s not a profile, and is in fact a business page, then could you refer to #2 in that FAQ and check that there are any restrictions on the page? If there aren’t any restrictions and you’re still having problems then just let me know the link to the Facebook page and I can let you know what the problem is. If you don’t want to send it here then you can send it to me privately via the Support form on our website.

    I’m marking this as resolved as it was resolved via email. For anyone else having the same problem, the issue was that the Facebook page that Bean was trying to display posts from was actually a personal profile.
