error activating advanced-custom-fields

    1. The plugin sometimes appears in the plugin list and sometimes not ( the plugin folder exist under plugins folder )

    2. I am receiving this error while trying to activate the plugin:

    The plugin advanced-custom-fields/acf.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

    Hey there einatbar,

    Hope you’re well! 🙂

    I suggest you navigate using your preferred ftp client to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/ to see if there is a folder named advanced-custom-fields. If the folder doesn’t exist then I suggest you try to re-install again the plugin. If the folder is there, I suggest you disable all other plugins just to see this is not a plugin to plugin issue.
