So, instead of the recaptcha you are seeing that code in the HTML?
Which versions of WordPress, PHP and BuddyPress are you using?
More in details, I see the first two lines in the top of the page (with debug mode enabled) and the last line instead of the recaptcha as you said.
I am using all the latest versions available both for wordpress (4.2.2) and BuddyPress (2.3.2.1).
Thanks
Max
And which php version? And are you using some strict configuration on php?
It seems to be an issue with php conf. Is it the distro default? Which distro?
The website is actually on hostgator with PHP release 5.2.
Linux is CentOS Linux x86.
Ohh, PHP 5.2.
Can you please try to disable BuddyPress, wp-recaptcha-bp and install wp-recaptcha (the project we are based on) and see if it happens?
If it does, please report the bug to wp-recaptcha. We just add a few lines to make it work with buddypress, but we try hard to not fork the code. Once they fix it, the fix will be incorporated by us.
Also, if they don’t answer in a reasonable time, let me know and I’ll try to fix it here. We don’t want to diverge when there is no need, but if they don’t help you we will try our best 🙂
But please, try that and confirm here the same happens with wp-recaptcha, and wp-recaptcha-bp and buddypress disabled.
Thanks a lot,
Rodrigo
Closing for inactivity. If you have time, and the bug is still present, please try the above.
Thanks a lot,
Rodrigo
Hello Rodrigo,
Sorry if I didn’t answer, I was very busy closing the project and I didn’t have time to test.
I will try what you suggested me as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Max
