Sounds great.
The plugin is using standard php DOMDocument class for parsing markup.
Can’t use w3 validator API due to restrictions also can’t include it in plugin as it’s on Perl not PHP.
Anyway I’m trying to improve and include more and more features possible.

yes that would be very useful as I normally need to use 3/4 different services in order to test all SEO issues, Im happy to cooperate, though Im not good at php so I can only give ideas and test on my environment

title tag is present in all images.- check if all image on page are optimized
- Google Search Results Snippet Preview
- Keyword usage in title and meta description
- check if a sitemap is present and if the page link is included
- Search for broken links on the page
- check for underscores in links
- presence or not of google analytics script
- search for SEO unfriedly links
- whether or not there are js errors
- HTML Compression/GZIP Test
- page cache detection
- whether or not all image/css/js have Expiration Tag
- css and js are minified?
<iframe> presence test- Flash object precence
- Server Signature Test
- Directory browsing test
- Libwww-perl Access Test
- Plaintext Emails Test
- Microdata Schema Test
- Backlinks Checker
- Favicon Test
These are some useful points that it should be checked
