Same issue here. I updated and now all my website says 500 Internal error.
me too. my php version is 5.3 so I should be good. It got a
Parse error: syntax error; unexpected T_STRING in (then my folders) for the google maps program. I deactivated both regular and pro version plugins via ftp but now I have to figure out what is wrong.
The error alluded to line 2175 in file wpGoogleMaps.php
this line is
$m_array[$id][“custom_fields_json”] = json_encode($custom_fields);
Anyone see anything wrong with this?
Help please.
I’m getting an error as well. This is exactly what pops up:

Hi there
Thank you for getting in touch and thank you very much for reporting this.
Can I firstly ask you to confirm you have PHP >= 5.3 running on the server as this we now require 5.3 or above (we recommend you don’t run anything older than 5.6, however 5.3 is the minimum requirement for the plugin to function).
May I also ask you to confirm you have the latest patch of WP Google Maps (7.0.03).
After doing both those checks, may I please ask you to submit a ticket at https://wpgmaps.com/contact-us ?
My apologies for the delay in replying – I’m sure we can have this solved within the course of the day if there are still problems at your end.
Please let us know?
Kind regards
– Perry
