• Hi,

    After upgrading my site to a newer php version, I get this error when trying to enable the plugin:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function create_function() in /home/dayteed/public_html/art/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/photo-gallery.php:735 Stack trace: #0 /home/dayteed/public_html/art/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2286): include_once() #1 /home/dayteed/public_html/art/wp-admin/plugins.php(191): plugin_sandbox_scrape() #2 {main} thrown in /home/dayteed/public_html/art/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/photo-gallery.php on line 735

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks,

    Ted

    Hello @dayteed !

    Thanks a lot for reaching out to us and reporting the issue!

    Could you please specify the PHP version you upgraded to as well as the Photo Gallery plugin version active on your website?

    Hey @nikitaanisimov

    Sure, the plugin version is Version 2.2.107
    WordPress version: 5.8.10
    Php version: 8.1.32 (Supports 64bit values)

    Thanks

    Since you haven’t received a response yet, I’ll jump in. Please don’t misunderstand me, but you should update your components more often. If your information is correct, your version of PhotoGallery is from 2016, so it’s about a decade old. Your WordPress is also a bit older. The PHP version is also no longer recommended.

    You should at least update PhotoGallery. Since the 2.x versions are paid versions, you’ll need to contact the manufacturer directly—they’re not allowed to provide support for the paid version either. Or you can install the current free 1.x version.
