Error after upgrading to latest version

    Hello,

    After upgrading to the latest version of ELEMENTOR, our website front end says “There has been a critical error on this website.”

    I can see this error in the error log:

    [29-Mar-2023 15:06:49 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Access level to BdevsElement\Widget\BDevs_El_Widget::add_inline_editing_attributes() must be public (as in class Elementor\Widget_Base) in /home/buyemsts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bdevs-element/classes/bdevs-el-widget.php on line 95

    At first I contacted the theme developer and they asked me to update the theme. Once I did that, the error seemed to be resolved.

    But now again, the same error has put my website down.

    I had to roll back to the older version of Elementor to bring the website back up.

    Please help!

    hello @cwpress @thaim if you have this problem after update Elementor

    “BdevsElement\Widget\BDevs_El_Widget::add_inline_editing_attributes() must be public (as in class Elementor\Widget_Base) in /home/buyemsts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bdevs-element/classes/bdevs-el-widget.php on line 95”

    all you need to do is to go to your hosting pannel and go to this place :
    /home/buyemsts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bdevs-element/classes/bdevs-el-widget.php on line 95

    in your case after home/ you will find another word (not like this man “buyemsts”) the name you have to login to your cpannel ! all you need to do is to go to line 95 in your cpannel you find this : “protected function” all you need to do is to change protected with public and the website will back to work !

    please not this solution only for this message !
